Bandhani shirt is a shirt made from fabric that uses Bandhani (tie-dye) technique, a traditional Indian textile art.
This shirt is made from small bandhani (bandhage) print fabric, featuring different patterns on the right and left sides. The back is also fully printed and it includes hand-stitched detailing on the collar, sleeves and armpit area.
Bandhani (also called Bandhej) is a tie-and-dye method where tiny portions of fabric are tightly tied with thread and then dyed.
When the threads are removed, they create beautiful dotted, circular, wave, or patterned designs.
